Talking about sem 4, let me introduce you with a new subject...(drum rolls please...)
Earlier this sem,i had only the slightest idea about this subject
Asked a few seniors and this is what i get:
Critical Literacy is...:
- when you read and think
- thinking outside the box
- being critical (whatever that means...)
- boring,hard,irrelevant,etc...(now that isnt something id need to know to start a new sem,rite???)
And so,I presented myself in the first lecture with so many(mostly negative) things running inside my head...And guess who's my lecturer???(more drum rolls pliz...) MR JUHARI SHAM aka MR JOE...now this should be interesting...
FYI,he was the one who interviewed me for my Gen Comm Oral Test in sem 1...(not sure if he remembers that though...) ive never been in his class before..so i figured out that it could do no harm to try something new...get a bit of fresh air,if i may say...turned out, it really does refreshing...(mr Joe,this is NOT an attempt to 'kipas' u,ok...hehehe)
in a nutshell,Critical Literacy isnt really that bad...i think,i got the whole idea behind it...that writers have messages to convey and so, its our jobs to figure that out...

critical literacy is about how critical your critical mind could critically criticize the critical literacy which needs critical mind to criticize critically and most of the time we are critically critical kind of person hehehehehe
